The 44 year old from Santander now faces criminal charges
A 44 year old man has been arrested in Santander for taking on the traffic fines from 24 of his friends and neighbours in just over a year so that they did not lose any points from their licence. The infractions took place not only in Cantabria, but also in Burgos, Madrid, Asturias and León.
The Traffic Civil Guard initially thought they had uncovered an internet point selling scheme, but finally closed in on the man who had a driving licence but no car.
The man has had his licence removed, for losing all his points, and now faces possible criminal charges.
