The number comes from a new report from the OECD
An international survey shows that Spanish school teachers spend 13% of their time keeping the class in order.
The study from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD, shows that 70% of teachers in Spain say the poor behaviour in class stops them from being efficient teachers. Most of those questioned said they would like to receive more professional training, although they confess they have no time to do so.
The OECD carried out the survey in 23 countries and recommends more incentives for teachers along with more facilities. It notes that in Spain nearly half of teachers receive no evaluations on their work.
