British destroyer calls in on Tenerife

HMS Gloucester is due to depart at 10 am today

The port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife welcomed on Tuesday the Royal Navy destroyer, ‘HMS Gloucester’ on a visit to the port. She is moored on the Muelle Sur.

The type 42 destroyer was made by Vosper Thorneycroft in Woolston, Southampton, and was launched by the Duchess of Gloucester in 1982.
The vessel is due to depart Tenerife at 10am today.
