El Mundo reports that Valencia no longer want to deal with the Madrid club

El Mundo reports that Real Madrid had reached an agreement for the Valencia player, David Villa, to play for them for the next five seasons, and that even approximate amounts had been agreed between the two clubs, some five million per season with incentives for the number of goals scored and titles achieved.

But now the club thinks the deal will not finally take place as, according to sources in Madrid, Valencia is now refusing to talk. It seems Valencia will deal with any club that is not Real Madrid.

The 28 year old player, who is originally from Asturias, was the goal scorer for Spain against Iraq on Wednesday, and told the press after the match that he had made a decision on his future, and that his agent, José Luis Tamargo, was aware what it was. Rather mysteriously he said that he was relaxed and there was no limit date.
