The victim was a 26 year old man who has not yet been named in reports

A 26 year old youth died on Wednesday afternoon after being stabbed in the street by another man.

It happened in the municipality of Santa Lucía and reports indicate that the victim was stabbed several times in Avenida La Unión de Vecindario, for reasons yet to be established.

Health officials say that the victim was in cardiac arrest when they arrived at the scene and they could not save his life.
