Seven boats arrived off Almería and one off the Granada coastlineEight patera small boats carrying 137 immigrants, including three children and a pregnant woman, were intercepted by the authorities off the waters of Andalucia over the weekend.
Six of the boats arrived off Almería on Saturday, and 16 Moroccans were found off the Cabo de Gata in the first of the boats to arrive on Sunday morning. It was followed by another that afternoon off Motril, Granada.
Only one of the travellers needed hospital treatment, with the rest reported to be in good health.
They all now face identification and then repatriation back to their countries of origin.
