José Tomás has sad that you cannot fool justice

The tailor at the centre of the Gürtel corruption case in Valencia, José Tomás, on Tuesday gave a warning to the Partido Popular President of the region, Francisco Camps, who is alleged to have accepted several suits from the Orange Market company, which has been given several works contracts in the region by the regional government.

‘You can’t fool Justice’ said Tomás, who said he was convinced that National Court Judge Baltasar Garzón, had carried out a good instruction process in the case.

The tailor also claimed that his employers used the Gürtel case as an excuse to sack him.

Meanwhile in the Madrid side of the case the judge is reported to be investigating a money laundering network allegedly used by the PP National Treasurer, Luis Bárcenas. A payment of 300,000 € was allegedly diverted in a real estate operation in 2004 by an ex partner of Alejandro Agag, the son in law of ex P.P. leader José María Aznar.

El País reports that the 30 sheets of case summary sent by Judge Antonio Pedreira to the Supreme Court, is full of items against Bárcenas, whose activities make up 90% of the summary.
