Fire in Solbes sees 70 evacuated from their homes

It's the fourth fire in the area in recent days

A campo fire broke out on Saturday at Sorbas, Almería, leading to the evacuation of some 70 people from cortijos in the area, according to the local Guardia Civil. They spent the night outside their homes, returning on Sunday.

21 firefighters took part in the operation to put out the fire using two fire-fighting planes and a helicopter, and the N340 was closed to traffic for a time.

The area of land affected in the area of Los Castaños is still to be announced.
