Eto'o reported to have received 'stratospheric' offer from Manchester City

Barça Chairman, Joan Laporta, says he thinks the player wants to stay put
There are press reports in the UK that Manchester City has signed the top Barcelona goalscorer from Cameroon, Samuel Eto’o. The News of the World talks about a 30 million € deal, and a weekly wage of 180,000 € for the player.
In Spain the Barça Chairman, Juan Laporta, has said that he could become the best paid player in the world, confirming that the player had received ‘an offer from the stratosphere’. But Laporta added the wanted to see the player stay at the Catalan club and he thought Eto’o also wanted to stay.
