The group say the protest will last all week and is against speculation and corruption in the capital
Some 50 activists spent Saturday and Sunday night in the closed Cines Luna, in the Plaza Santa María Soledad Torres Acosta, in central Madrid in protest at ‘the speculative and corrupt processes which affect the city of Madrid.
The group named themselves ‘Rompamos el Silencio – We break the silence’ and say their protests will continue for the week.
The Cines Luna were well known in the capital for showing more independent and low budget films, as well as many in original version.
