Four of the travellers are thought to be underage
54 immigrants have been rescued off four patera small boats off the Murcia coast. It’s thought that four of the travellers could be children and at least one has been taken to hospital for treatment for hypothermia.
The 54 Algerian immigrants arrived in port just after midnight according to Red Cross and Coastguard sources.
Three of the boats with 39 on board were intercepted when 30 miles off the coast of Cartagena, and another 15 people were found between Portman and Cavanna.
