Óscar Pérez says he is exhausted

The judge investigating the Malaya corruption case in Instruction Court Five in Marbella, Óscar Pérez, has asked for a transfer saying he is exhausted.

The magistrate took over the investigation in September 2007 and has now asked to be moved to the Mercantile Court in Málaga, according to La Opinión de Málaga.

Long work sessions, media pressure and the technical complexity of the case are blamed for the judge’s request.
