You can now opt out from receiving commericial calls and messages to your land line or mobile phone in Spain

Are you fed up with sales calls to your land line or mobile phone in Spain? Is your mobile message file filling up with commercial SMS messages?

Well now you can do something about it by registering out of such calls and messages with a new service which was launched in Spain on Tuesday this week.

The Robinsons Lists have existed in Spain for postal mail since 1993, but have now been extended to land line and mobile phones, as well as to email for the first time.

It’s a free process to register at www.listarobinson.es but you will need an email account to complete the registration process after which you can sign in and choose which areas you want to be covered in the scheme.

Under Spanish data protection laws, any company making commercial calls in Spain is now obliged to first check the Robinson List before they make any commercial call to you.
