The group is investigating the facilities for cruise liner passengers
A dozen British travel agents arrived in Málaga on Thursday at the invitation of national, regional and local tourists officials in the City Hall, with the Silversea Cruises company.
The travel agents are specialists in high-end cruise line packages and are inspecting the complementary offer in Málaga in terms of culture, gastronomy and other items of tourist interest.
A statement from the city hall said they have been visiting the city centre, and Calle Larios, and today go on to visit the Cathedral, Alcazaba and Picasso Museum.
Last year ports in Andalucía welcomed 713 cruise ships, up more than 15% on 2007, and bringing 660,000 passengers into the region.
