It follows the injuries of Nadal and Ferrer
The Spanish tennis ‘armada’ has arrived in Marbella for the Davis Cup quarter finals against Germany.
Rafa Nadal, who lost his world number one crown back to Roger Federer over the weekend, is not present, still suffering from the tendonitis in his knees.
Joining the team is Juan Carlos Ferrero, in form after reaching the Wimbledon quarter finals.
Captain of the Spaniards, Alberto Costa, also has had to replace an injured David Ferrer, so now it will be Fernando Verdasco, Feliciano López, Tommy Robredo, Nicolas Almagro and Juan Carlos Ferrero who will be playing at the Puerto Banús bullring between next Friday and Sunday.
Both teams are now training both in the bullring and also on the courts of the Puente Romano Hotel.
