The search continues for British criminals on the run in Spain

The successful U.K. Crimestoppers, Operación Captura, campaigns continue in Spain with another press conference launched over the weekend to try and find British criminals on the run, this time on the Costa Blanca.

Another ten fugitives, wanted for sexual, drug and violent crimes, are named in the latest campaign which brings together the Spanish Police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency, SOCA, from the U.K.

Since Crimestoppers was launched in Spain in October 2006, 23 of 40 wanted people have been found.
You can find the latest list under the ‘most wanted’ link on www.crimestoppers-uk.org.

Lord Ashcroft, founder and President of Crimestoppers, commented in Alicante that the public response from the campaign has been far greater than was expected upto now and that they hoped this would continue. He said he was immensely proud of making a significant impact on an international scale.

The phone number to call in Spain is 900 555 111.
