Javier Solana to work for the Acciona group

The EU Foreign Policy Chief is expected to leave his post next month

Javier Solana, who leaves his post as the man responsible for EU foreign policy at the end of the year, has been signed up by the Acciona group which wants to strengthen their international presence, and now have a man familiar to many across the world.

José Manuel Entrecanales, Chairman of the construction energy and services group, has taken on Solana as an advisor on international strategy.

The 67 year old Socialist politician has shown his diplomatic and negotiation skills over recent years and will no doubt be head-hunted elsewhere as well.
