There are yellow alerts from the Spanish Meteorological Agency for rough seas and high winds on all the Canary Islands today, while on the mainland there is an orange alert along the entire North coast from Galicia to the Basque Country.
Cloudy in Galicia with the chance of a light shower in the north and west, with cloudy intervals early on in Cantabria, the north meseta, upper Ebro, the Pyrenees and the Central and Iberico mountains, clearing later in the day.
Elsewhere it will be generally clear and sunny, although cloud will increase later in the area of the Strait at the end of the day. Cloudy on the Canaries with the chance of light to moderate showers in the west and north.
Mist in places during the morning in Castilla y León, and in inland Cataluña, Extremadura and Eastern Andalucía.
Winds weak to moderate Westerly in the northern half of the mainland and on the Baleares.
