Police seize 6 kilos of BZP in Alicante

It comes from the same network dismantled in Calpe last month with 15 kg of BZP and thousands of Viagra pills

Police in Alicante have seized another six kilos of BZP, the designer drug which has a similar effect to amphetamines. It follows the seizure at the end of last month of 15 kilos of the drug in the course of 3 property searches in Calpe, which saw 5 arrests and five suspects taken into custody.

The National Police also made one of Spain’s biggest ever hauls of Viagra pills in that earlier operation.

It’s understood from La Verdad newspaper that this latest haul was discovered in the ongoing investigation into the network which was dismantled in October.
