The US magazine, InTouch, claims Penélope is already planning her wedding dress

The rumoured marriage of Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem could take place as early as this Christmas, according to a magazine in the United States, ‘InTouch’, which claims this week that Cruz has already met with her favourite designers to plan her wedding dress. She’s reported to be looking at the House of Balenciaga, whose founder was from Spain.

The article in the weekly magazine quotes a friend saying, ‘They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays’. The friend added that, while Bardem would like to take things more slowly, Penélope is being pushed to marry by her conservative Catholic parents and, ‘wants to make her parents happy’.

The Tabloid newspaper, the New York Daily News, carried a similar rumour last month.
