There are Spanish Meteorological Yellow Alerts in place across much of the country, from high seas along the northern coast to warnings of high winds as far south as Alemería.

It all means unsettled conditions with most areas seeing rain in the form of showers at time, with only the Costa Cálida and Costa Blanca areas escaping.
Showers in the area of the Strait should clear later in the day. On the Balearics the showers will fall as snow over 1100m and be stormy with hail at times. Showers on the north of the Canaries.
