After the havoc caused by escaping bulls while a scene was being shot for the film ‘Knight & Day’ in Cádiz last week, the two stars of the film were in the city on Saturday for some of their first scenes. With Cameron Diaz clinging on tightly on the back, and armed men chasing behind, Tom Cruise drove a motorbike ahead of a herd of running bulls, with the San Fermín ‘mozos’ running alongside, in a recreation of Pamplona’s bull runs.
Filming in the city was suspended and a new safety plan was implemented after seven bulls broke out while an earlier scene was being shot last Sunday, causing minor injuries to two women. Fortunately, there were no similar incidents on this occasion.
The shooting in Cádiz has now concluded and, from this Monday, production moves on to the Andalucía capital, Sevilla.
