It's a tough draw for Barcelona who first have to get past Sevilla

The draw has been made today (Tuesday) for the next round of the King’s Cup in Spain and Barcelona against Sevilla has emerged as the most exciting match. The draw is tough one for Barcelona right to the final.

Real Madrid giant killers Alcorcón, from the Segunda B will face Racing de Santander, and Atlético will meet Recreativo. Málaga face Getafe and Valencia face Deportivo.

The next round will be played on the 6th and 13th of January, and the final will be held on May 23, if there are no Spanish teams in the final of the Champions League. If there are the King’s Cup final moves to May 26th.

Last 16 (January 6 and 13) The first leg will be held in the ground of the lower category team:

1. Hércules - Osasuna
2. Villarreal - Celta
3. Barcelona - Sevilla
4. Atlético - Recreativo
5. Málaga - Getafe
6. Mallorca - Rayo Vallecano
7. Alcorcón - Racing
8. Valencia - Deportivo
Quarter finals (January 20 and 27):

A. Winner of Valencia-Depor against the Winner of Barça-Sevilla
B. Winner of Rayo-Mallorca against the Winner of Málaga-Getafe
C. Winner of Alcorcón-Racing against the Winner of Hércules-Osasuna
D. Winner of Atlético-Recre against the Winner of Celta-Villarreal
Semifinales (February 3 and 10):
Winner of D against the winner of C
Winner of B against the winner of A.
Final (May 23 or 26):
Winner of D against C will play in the final against the winner of B against A.
