The 18 month old British baby who was admitted with four adult members of his family with Carbon Monoxide poisoning after a possible gas escape in their home in Algorfa, Alicante, has been allowed home from the Vega Baja district hospital in Orihuela.
The local health authority said the baby was allowed to leave hospital at 2,40pm on Thursday, and now only two members of the family, aged 41 and 54, of the five originally admitted remain in hospital.
The two still under treatment are both in the Torrevieja Hospital where their condition is described as stable and they are expected to be allowed home today.
Thursday saw police and Repsol technicians at the home to try to determine the cause of the build up of Carbon Monoxide, and first indications indicate a fault with one of the gas boilers installed on the lower floor of the home.
