Overnight on Saturday, temperatures reached -20ºC in some areas.

This morning the DGT traffic authority has advised drivers in Madrid to leave the car at home today and use public transport whenever possible.
It follows a heavy snowfall in the Madrid region at 3am this morning, which has resulted in the streets of the capital covered in snow.
Much of Andalucía is on yellow alert for high winds on Monday, while an orange alert for heavy rainfall will affect Huelva, Cádiz, Sevilla and Córdoba. Diario Sur reports that a yellow alert for rain in Málaga province is expected to bring 60 litres of rain per
square metre within the space of 12 hours, while winds could reach up to 80 kilometres an hour.
The best of the weather today and any breaks in the cloud will be on the Levante coast.
The snow line will increase from 600m in the centre of the country to 1,600m later, and return above 2,000m in the south. The snowline will be above 1,300m in the north.
Winds general moderate southerly, but strong on the Galicia coast, eastern Cantabria and in the SE of the country, Andalucía, Balearic and Canaries, with gusts of strong winds on high ground across the country.
