The driver is unable to work because of the head injuries he sufferedThe driver of the coach which crashed on the Benalmádena bypass on April 19 2008, resulting in the death of nine Finnish tourists, and the injury of 40 people, is now demanding compensation of 240,000 €.
He has been declared as being unfit to work for life as a result of the head injuries he suffered in the accident which happened when his coach was in collision with a four wheel drive vehicle, the driver of which tested positive for alcohol and who was calculated to have been travelling at 155 kms/hour despite the wet conditions.
The claim for compensation from the coach driver has been presented to the First Instance Court in Torremolinos.
