The ex General Secretary of the party in Valencia has been given a new postJust four months after being forced to resign from his post as the General Secretary of the Valencia Partido Popular because of his alleged implication in the Gürtel corruption case, the PP President of the Valencia region, Francisco Camps, has brought Ricardo Costa back into the fold.
He has been named as the spokesman for the development of the region’s statute in the Valencia parliament.
The party’s rights and guarantees committee in Madrid had ordered that Costa be suspended from all activism in the party.
It means he gets an extra 600 € a month and PP spokesman in the Valencia parliament, Rafael Blasco, said that Costa has the support of ‘all the Partido Popular group’.
