NewGgovernment plans to stimulate house improvements have been welcomed locallyThe recession has seen 6,420 builders go out of business in the province of Alicante, resulting in 37,840 losing their jobs over the past three years.
President of the Alicante Construction Federation, FECIA, Ramón Jerez, told Información newspaper that he applauded the Government’s plans announced this week to give tax breaks on house improvements. He said that work could prove a life-line for those builders still in business.
