The City Hall is reducing the number of official cars for councillors from 23 to 8Málaga City Hall is to cut the number of official cars at the disposition of local councillors from 23 to eight.
It’s one of a series of measures intended to save costs in the PP run administration. Councillors will have to take the bus from March 15, with the change expected to result in a saving of 108,000 € for the council.
Until now 18 of the 23 cars were designated to the 17 PP councillors, protocol was assigned two and the opposition had three between them for all their 14 councillors.
