The search is on waste ground at Camas, near Sevilla

The search has resumed today for the body of Marta del Castillo, the 17 year old from Sevilla who is believed to have been murdered over a year ago. National Police have restarted the search on waste ground near Camas, at the request of the family. A search nearby last September ended without results.

An improvement in the weather means that the judge’s order from the Sevilla Provincial Court for the search to restart can now be met.

It goes ahead despite two police reports voicing concerns about another search for the body of the youngster believed to have been murdered on the night of January 24 last year.
