More fronts are crossing the country with more unstable conditions

Another front is crossing the country from the Atlantic bringing more rain which will move across Spain today from south to north.
There will be fresh snow in Eastern Cantabria and the Upper Ebro, and temperatures will be below freezing again in the centre of the country. Some areas of the Mediterranean coast will also see very low temperatures.

Cloudy with light showers across the southern third of the country, with the rain possibly moderate in places and moving from West to East during the day.
The snowline will range from 100-600m in the north and Baleares to 900 to 1400m in the south. Showers also on the Canaries clearing later.

Winds moderate N with strong gusts on high ground in places.

Highs: Santa Cruz de Tenerife 22, Málaga 17, Cádiz, Murcia 16, Almería 14, Alicante, Valencia 13, Granada 12, Barcelona 11, Madrid 9, Palma de Mallorca 8
Lows: Santa Cruz de Tenerife 17, Cádiz 9, Málaga 8, Almeria 7, Alicante 3, Valencia 2, Barcelona, Murcia 1, Granada, Madrid -1, Palma de Mallorca 0

Outlook
The Spanish weather forecasters are saying there will be two more Atlantic storms and another wave of cold polar air hitting Spain before Spring starts on March 21. They say the rain will return to many areas at the weekend and temperatures will remain low.
The last part of the front which brought the heaviest snows for 25 years to Barcelona this week has left more snow in Palma de Mallorca. Temperatures plummeted to two degrees on Wednesday morning and the entire island of Mallorca saw fresh snow.

snowstorm, but the regional Generalitat government has denied the request, even though the Military Emergency Unit had 150 men working in the area, but who now have been sent home. Some 20,000 in Girona still have no power after more than 72 hours.

The good side from all the rain is that nationally the reservoirs are now at 79% of their capacity and water supply, both for human consumption and for agriculture is guaranteed for a year.
