What is being described as the first ever Gay Eurovision Song Contest is being organised in Torremolinos, although in reality all the contestants will come from each of Spain’s autonomous regions.
‘Gayvision’, the first festival of gay song, will be held on Saturday October 16 as part of a three day event in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones in Torremolinos which runs between the 15th and 17th.
That event, called Expo Gays will be an international fair on gay tourism, and, according to the organisers, the largest concentration of gay-friendly businesses where professionals and individuals can meet under the same roof to show their offers and establish commercial contacts.
The fair will have 180 exhibitors on the two floors of the building and is expecting an attendance of over 10,000.
