Yet more cases of domestic violence in Spain it has been revealed that a man who allegedly killed his ex wife by hitting her with a hoe, had been found not guilty of domestic violence and had a distancing order lifted just days before the crime. Technically however the distancing order remained in place as the man had not been officially informed of the court’s decision.
67 year old J.H.F. is accused of killing 42 year old Rafaela Rueda Contreras, who was his partner for five years at their home in Pinos Puente, Granada.
Meanwhile an 18 year old woman was arrested on Saturday in connection with the death of her father, a 58 year old Colombian who died from stab wounds in Oviedo. Reports indicate that the father got into an argument with his two daughters on Saturday morning after the two girls arrived home at 7am. The father managed to get out of the flat but his body was found in the building’s stairwell by the health authorities when they arrived.
