The tragedy happened at Otura, Granada

A three year old boy drowned in the family swimming pool in the Nueva Otura urbanisation at Otura, Granada on Monday at 1,30pm.

It seems he was with the mother in the kitchen and when she noticed that he was missing she ran into the garden and found the body floating in the pool.

The emergency services tried without success to revive the child.
