The Generalitat Valencia Government has sent a list of 226 people possibly responsible for making contracts in the Gürtel corruption case to the Instruction Judge in Madrid, Antonio Pedreira.
All the members of the Government are listed, with one exception, that of the President of the Government, Francisco Camps.
El Mundo reports that the list, which was sent by the regional government’s lawyer, Isabel Villalonga on June 25, has upset councillors and top members of the Valencia administration.
The judge had asked who could have signed the contracts worth 7.2 million € with companies which are part of the allegedly corrupt Gürtel group.
