The Guardia Civil has arrested five people accused of ‘cooking’ and distributing cocaine in the town of Jumilla, Murcia. Two laboratories where the drug was cut and adulterated have been found and four kilos of base cocaine has been recovered along with 20,000 € in cash and three firearms.
The five arrested are two Spaniards, two Colombians and one Bolivian.
Seven searches were carried out across the town in the operation coordinated by the ECO, the Organised Crime Team of the Guardia Civil Central Operation Unit based in Alicante.
The two Colombians were first identified and then surveillance led the police to locate the premises used by the group which included a flat and a garage in the town as well as a finca in the campo.
