17 matches will have their kick-off times brought forwardThe Spanish Professional Football League, LFP, is to bring forward some 17 games this coming new season in order to be of greater appeal to the Asian market.
A summer pre-season tournament next year will also have the same target, according to Francisco Roca, the General Director of the LFP.
He said the objective was to be one of the prominent leagues, and in this part of the world changing the playing time for TV is essential.
‘We have to do it’, he said, speaking at the Soccerex football forum in Singapore.
It would mean a 3pm start for the selected games.
