Atlético de Madrid have won the first European Supercup in their history with a 0-2 win against Inter Milan on Friday night which saw Kun Agüero and Reyes as the stars of the side.
Atlético were superior to Inter throughout the match apart from the first five minutes when Inter had their best chances of scoring from Eto’o and Sneijder.
Quique’s team showed its personality and took control of the game and with Agüero controlling the midfield came close to scoring several times.
Both goals came in the second half – Reyes scored after 62 minutes behind a wall with Agüero in the area and after 83 minutes when Agüero himself saw a goal thanks to a pass from Simao.
De Gea stopped a penalty from Diego Milito in the last minutes of the match.
