The Partido Popular claims that delays could be caused by the Government's plans for a private/public partnership

The Councillor for Infrastructure in the Valencia regional government, Mario Flores, has warned that the AVE high speed train may not reach Alicante in 2012.

He claims that the fact that the line is included in the Government’s new plans for a private/public partnership ‘puts the arrival of the AVE in Alicante in danger during the established time’.

Minister for Development, José Blanco, outlined the new Government plans for infrastructure last Thursday.
