The Spanish football team are in Buenos Aires head of a friendly match with Argentina on Tuesday. After a 14 hour flight from Zurich, the Spanish players rested on Sunday and will start training today in the Boca Juniors stadium. They also had a training session before leaving Switzerland.

Reports indicate that David Villa has been dropped for the match and that the side will be made up of Casillas, Arbeloa, Ramos, Piqué, Capdevila, Busquets, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Iniesta, Navas and Torres.

It will be a surprise if Villa does not play, as he now has 43 international goals, one short of the record from Raul.
