Reports say it happened after a plane was turned away from Equatorial Guinea

The Ministry of the Interior released 25 illegal immigrants to their own devices in Madrid, after taking them to Equatorial Guinea and then bringing them back when they were not allowed entry.

It happened last Saturday when the plane with 25 Sub-Saharans and 31 Spanish police on board was turned back on landing.

It’s been estimated in the Spanish press today that the futile flight cost the Spanish State around 100,000 €.
