The ‘Pura Raza Española’ is at the centre of the 21st edition of the SICAB, The International Horse Show, which opened on Tuesday in Sevilla and which continues until Sunday.
Held in the Congress and Exhibition Palace in the city, the show this year has nearly 1,000 horses taking part, with Argentina the invited country. Displays of folklore and breeding from Argentina can be seen.
946 horses from 11 different countries will show their abilities in the show which continues until Sunday with competitions in dressage, jumping and with carriages. A new ‘SICAB Noche’ sees events programmed into the early hours.
Guest of honour is actor, Alain Delon.
The event is the third largest annual event in Sevilla after Easter and the April Fair, and is expected to bring some 30 million € to the city, as business deals worth about 60 million are sealed, and that despite the current economic circumstances.
