11 provinces in the north of the country are on alert for snow, cold and precipitation.

The yellow alert affects Huesca, Zaragoza, Cantabria, Burgos, León, Palencia, Navarra, La Rioja, Asturias, Guipúzcoa and Guadalajara
It will be very cloudy in the far north with locally moderate rain, while the rest of the north and the Baleares will see cloud increase during the day with showers in the afternoon.
The rest of the mainland, Ceuta and Melilla, an expect clear skies while it will be cloudy on the north of the Canaries.
The snowline will fall during the day to 400m in the north and 1200m in the rest of the mainland and on the Baleares.

Outlook
The forecast is for it to get much colder from Wednesday night, with many inland parts of the mainland expected to fall to -10ºC. Snow is forecast for the Catalan coast and the Baleares.
Tomorrow will see more cloud everywhere with rain or snow in the far north and on the Baleares.
