smallerBy h.b. - Apr 3, 2006 - 3:07 PMFour people have been arrested in Madrid in connection with the sale of anabolic steroids over the InternetFour people have been arrested by the Civil Guard in Spain following the break up of a network which distributed anabolic steroids in both Spain and the United States.
The drugs were made in a home laboratory and were sold over the internet, and sent by post disguised as computer material.
Civil Guard sources say that more than 300 boxes with more than 400 ampoules have been recovered so far, and that some of the drugs were being used to fatten cattle as well as sportsmen eager to gain weight. Three of those arrested work in Madrid gyms and sports shops.
