Over 550 immigrants arrive on Tenerife in two days

The immigrants arrived on open boats called Cayucos

Five open topped Cayuco boats with 380 immigrants on board have arrived to the South of Tenerife today, and a sixth boat with a further 76 has been sighted. There were 16 children among the latest wave of travellers which follow an additional 195 who arrived on Friday.

All the boats are thought to have set sale from Senegal and the red cross reports that none of the travellers needed medical assistance on their arrival. The red cross needed more than 50 volunteers at the scene to cope with the avalanche.

Meanwhile the Government Delegate for the Canaries, José Segura, announced today that the new joint patrols organised by Spain and Mauritania would start work next week.

i think that it is just wrong to have illegal immigrants in the united states because there taking jobs that out of workers want and need to suport their families and there selves!!

i dont get why the illegal immigrants cant come to the U.S most of them come for a job that the lazy americans dont want to do so they go and get that job to support there family. whats wrong with that?? i dont get it if they dont want us to be a part of the U.S than the U.S sucks

what i dont get is that if the whites/americans dont want mexicans coming to the U.S than dont offer the jobs to them i think they sould be able to come and go but the Mexican who need a job. The US wants legal immigrants, not illegal ones. People need to fight injustice in their own countries instead of taking their problems elsewhere. It has nothing to do with hate. It has to do with the courage to make a difference in your own country rather than taking the easy route of running away and expecting those you impose on to be nice to you. People need to take responsibility for their own problems or respectfully ask for assistance and hope that it is extended. It can't be forced. Forcing illegal immigration on a people is the same as abuse and a kind of terrorism.

How Bad Is It Over In Africa That The Only Option To Get Away From It Is To Cross All That Sea. Its So Scary.
