The town planning spokesman said the hotel can remain open, but they must negotiate compensating exceeding approved construction
The Marbella Management Committee has turned down the application for a first occupancy permit presented for the Guadalmina Golf Hotel, as well as another for 80 new homes in the same area.
It is a licence granted to authorise two things: use of a completed construction, and that the building conforms to the planning permission issued.
The Committee’s town planning spokesman, Rafael Duarte, explained that the administrative measure will not affect the hotel’s functioning, and it will not have to close. He said he will negotiate with the promoter, Fadesa, ‘to cover the deficit in infrastructure and public areas on the urbanisation, created by the increased size of construction than that approved.’
