Several Hollywood stars will attend this year, together with top director Oliver Stone

Hollywood stars Oliver Stone, Max Von Sydow, Matt Dillon, Clive Owen, and Diane Krüger have all confirmed that they will attend this year’s San Sebastian Film Festival.

The 54th edition of the festival, the largest of its type in Spain is about to get underway with the grand finale of the Concha - Shell awards set for September 30. The jury this year will be presided over by Jeanne Moreau.

New British film ‘Ghosts’ opens the official section of the festival. Directed by Nick Broomfield, the film is the true story about the death of 23 Chinese immigrants who drowned off the English coast in February 2004.

Oliver Stone will witness the showing of his new film ‘World Trade Centre’ in the Anoeta Velodrome before an audience of 3,000.
