It comes as the UGT union has complained at safety measures in the construction of the Mediterranean Motorway

A worker died yesterday morning after falling from the ceiling of a warehouse he was working on in the La Menacha Industrial Estate in Algeciras. The Cádiz Provincial health delegation say the man died on his way to hospital.

And in Motril another worker was seriously injured after falling through some stairs on a building site in the town.

The two new accidents come as the UGT union has presented an official legal complaint about the lack of safety measures in the construction of the Mediterranean Motorway. Investigations into the Almuñuecar accidents in which six workers lost their lives, continue with witnesses and other workers being questioned by the Judicial police yesterday.
