Two arrests have been made in connection with the attack on the Casa de España in Casablanca in May 2003 in which 41 people died

El Pais newspaper reported on Sunday that the Spanish North African Encalves of Ceuta and Melilla were now objectives for the Islamic Holy War or Jihad.

Intelligence services are describing the information they now have as the most worrying since 2004, with a fundamental group distributing a statement which describes the two cities as being occupied. It was also placed on a radical webpage from a cybercafé in Algeria.

Meanwhile, police have attested two alleged members of the GICM – The Moroccan Islamic Combat Group in Melilla in connection with the bomb attack on the Casa de España in Casablanca in May 2003 in which 41 people lost their lives.

The arrested men are 43 year old Belgium, although born in Morocco, Ali Aarras, and 31 year old Nordin El Behri Hamed Mohande from Melilla.
The second was released from custody on Sunday after questioning.

The areas mentioned were once part of the Caliphate and, under Islamic Law, any Caliphate area REMAINS a Caliphate area, even though it may be captured by some other force.

But this is only the beginning. Not only these enclaves of Spain are to "return" to the Caliphate, but ALL of Spain is to be once again taken over by the mythical Allah and his cohorts.

Further to that, the WHOLE WORLD is scheduled to become one big GLOBAL CALIPHATE for which we need to prepare ourselves. This is a very serious matter - not a joke.

Just go to the following website in order to get ready, even if only for the sake of your daughters and granddaughters. Now click on :-http://keith.shorturl.com

How can we overcome blind fanaticism? In most cases this is true among many Islamists. I've studied the religion of Islam, off and on, since 9/ll. It seems that many of the Islamic religion are blinded by some kind of rage that I cannot understand. Among the fanatics, it seems that their thoughts revolve solely around sex and killing. Not only do they kill Christians and Jews; they kill each other. Witness the madness of the Sunnis who kill the Shiites, and vice versa. I confess that I don't understand enraged fanatics. Will someone explain it to me? Here is something else I don't understand: The Islamists claim that if everyone becomes Islamist, there will be peace. How is that? Come again! But Islamists are killing Islamists, so how can there be peace? Besides, which branch of Islam should someone join? There are 72 branches in Islam, each contradicting the other in some form or other. How can all those contradictions bring peace? It's incredible and maddening! Do all those contradictions come from God?

Philip, I recommend you read The Truth About Mohammad by Robert Spencer. The Quran is his life, and Muslims see him as the perfect man and the 'extremists' among Muslims are just doing what Mo would do.

I wonder if the seizure of Ceuta and Melila will awaken Europe or will Europe shrug it off and acquiesce?

As for that 'final peace' when all the world is Muslims, that's the big joke. Like anyone could believe the Muslims would finally be at peace when there are no more infidels. Now that's a laugh.

Philip, you wonder why Muslims are so bent on killing - Jews, Christians (the "People of the Book")and Kafir (Infidels). Every true Muslim who follows the Koran is a member of "Dar-al-Islam" or the "Household of Peace". All non-Muslims belong to the "Dar-al-Harb" or "the Household of War". True Muslims are obliged to convert all non-Muslims to Allah by "peaceful Jihad" and, if they succeed, so be it. However, if the Kafir do not SUBMIT ("Islam" really eans "SUBMISSION") it is their duty to kill them by violent Jihad. More at http://keith.shorturl.com

In the middle of the 20th century we were threatened by a fanatical movement that wanted to take over the world.

We responded by killing everyone who was willing to die for that movement.

End of movement.

The European Union must tighten up its external borders against the active Islamist threat; many more security personnel are needed now.

If the EU fails to act, each member state should secede from the EU, and put its own security as priority No. 1.

Keith...Apologists for muslims like to state that non muslims (people of the book...Jews and Christians) are allowed to live and practice their religion in countries like Egypt (several million Coptic Christians), Yemen (there are some Jews there), Iran (about a million Christians and 25000 Jews), Pakistan (about 3 million Christians). What they fail to mention is that they are obliged to live under the terms of the "Pact of Umar". They are Dhimmis with second class status. I suggest you do a web search on the Pact of Umar (or Omar) to see what it says. In Egypt, for example, Coptics cannot even repair the bathroom in their church without Presidential permission. Apologists for Islam will further say that the Pact of Umar is Unislamic, but of course the scriptural basis for that pact is Verse 9:29 of the Koran. I would suggest that the Arab problem with Israel would end today if the people of Israel all did the Shahadah. The problem Arabs have with Israel is not so much that Jews live there, but that non muslims (Jews) are top dog. There is a nation state in their midst that does not comply with the Pact of Umar (and Verse 9:29). Muslims are not in charge. That is essentially the reason also that Muslims have caused so much trouble in what was largely Christian Lebanon.

Islamic lunacy and barbarism only seem
to grow by the day.

Ceuta and Melilla were stolen from Morocco. They are relics from the colonial period and Spain should return them to Morocco.

Terrorism is the reaction of people who feel extremely invisible and insignificant to those who have power. They are fighting against hundreds of years of colonial and neo-colonial oppression and racism; they are fighting for control over their natural resources which have exploited by foreign oil companies- not for the good of the people but for a small eilte class and rich oil executives.

Why should spain get to control those cities? Would Algeria allow France to retain control of "historically French" cities? Hell no.

I found this comment particularly telling:
"Islamic lunacy and barbarism only seem
to grow by the day."

Ha you think that's the only thing that grows day by day? How about Israeli "lunacy and barbarism only seem to grow day by day"

From an Amnesty International report:

Those killed, most of whom were asleep in their beds when their homes were struck by shells fired by Israeli forces, included eight children. An Amnesty International delegate who visited the scene of the killings shortly after the attack was told that 15 of the victims were killed in the first strike and that three others were killed by a second shell as they raced to help the dead and injured.

Yep bet they were terrorists......

Or how about American Barbarity and Lunancy?

US Soldier Sentenced to 90 Years in Iraq Rape, Murder Case
A US soldier has been sentenced to ninety years in prison for his role in the rape of an Iraqi girl and the killing of her and her family. The soldier, Specialist James Barker, was sentenced one day after pleading guilty and agreeing to testify against four other suspects. Barker has admitted he raped the girl -- Abeer Kassem Hamza al-Janabi – while her parents and five-year old sister were herded into an adjoining room of their home and shot dead. Two other suspects –former soldier Steven Green and Sgt. Paul Cortez – raped Abeer before shooting her and burning her body in an effort to cover up their crime.

Seems to me all this is proving is how barbaric and hateful all humans can be if properly brainwashed by societies which teach their children to hate not to love. Divided people through religion, nationalism, sexism, and racism.

600,000 Iraqis have died since the invasion of Iraq. 1.6 Million people are displaced in Iraq, fleeing the terrible secterian violence the fall of saddam unleashed on the country.

Spain should give up Ceuta and Melilla, and then demand Britain return the Rock of Gibraltar. It would work out nicely.

Muslims and Islamic apologists are searching all time non-islamic error...
but why don't exist christiano-phobia or budist-phobia?

Yes you are right but who is guilty of these crimes?
The resistance, the insurgency or AlQaeda...-let's speak clear- the muslim terrorists...
-let's speak clearer- the muslims and the religion of peace.

Who is guilty of these crimes? We are. We destroyed a country and a government (no matter how bad it was it was better than now) to bring it "democracy" and had listened to all the intelligence analysts who warned that secterian violence was inevitable, we would have realized that Bush and the neo-con's plans were bullshit. We would have realized the total foolishness of believing we make Iraq democratic. Democracy must come for the people. It has to be organiz. It can't be forced. that's why we're guilty.
