The woman concerned is cashing in on her fame from being accused of trafficking in explosives in Cancun while on her honeymoon
The Galician hairdresser who was held captive in error during her honeymoon in Cancún last year on charges of trafficking in explosives, has upset many in her native village of Arcade by posing nude in the latest edition of Intervíu magazine.
Ana María Ríos has taken advantage of her fame from the kidnapping by being paid an unknown amount to take off her clothes.
Sales of the magazine have sold out locally, but some locals from Arcade say that the whole village supported her when she was being held captive, and now they feel dismayed that she has paid them back by bringing shame on the village.

She's beautiful. Maybe she had financial difficulties after her ordeal and
needed the money. The village should be glad she put them on the map and
that it shows they have beautiful women, whom they apparently abuse.

How come no one complains about the trafficking of women? That's what the
media do when they make money from undressing and photographing women. Men
want to have it both ways...and blame the underdog/victim, not themselves
for their bad behavior. They want to look at naked women and are willing
to pay for it, but then blame the women who find that the money offered for
doing so pays better than marriage/some stupid low paying job. At least,
she has some guts. She's not hiding behind a veil.

She is so beautiful. Her nudity in my opinion is not the issue. The issue
is most likely jealously. I don't know the gender of who in the village has
complained. We should be proud that she has the security in her gift of
beauty. Maybe, this her way of healing after her ordeal. Or perhaps she
doesn't see it as a gift. Maybe she's demonstrating insercurity after what
she's been faced with. I believe we should pray for her in hopes she heals
from her ordeal.
